¿What is the Digital Kit?

The Digital Kit, an initiative taken by the Spanish Government, provides a set of digital tools to assist companies with their digital transformation. The main goal of the initiative is to subsidise the implementation of digital solutions available in the market, in order to advance the digital maturity of businesses.

This program falls under the Digital Transformation and Economic Affairs Ministry and is primarily focused on SMEs and self-employed individuals, offering guidance throughout the digital transformation process.

These grants and subsidies are part of the European funds for Economic Recovery under the Next Generation EU initiative. It is not necessary to provide a cash advance because they are non-repayable fund subsidies

How can you submit this grant?

    • Consult the information available for digital solutions offered by our digitization agents and displayed by the Digital Kit Program.
    • Submit this Digital Kit grant in the electronic site Red.es (sede.red.gob.es), and complete the registration.

Who is it addressed to?

The digital solutions provided by the Digital Kit are aimed at the needs of Spanish small businesses, micro-businesses and self-employed workers, belonging to any sector or type of business.

Requirements to request the Digital Kit

  • Dedicated to companies whose fiscal domicile is located in Spanish territory
  • Being a small company, micro-company or self-employed (from 1 to 50 workers)
  • Comply with the financial and effective limitations that define the categories of companies
  • Be registered and have the minimum seniority established by announcement
  • Not be considered a company in crisis
  • Be up to date with tax obligations and Social Security
  • Not be subject to a pending repossession order from the European Commission
  • Not incurring any of the prohibitions provided for in article 13.2 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies
  • Do not exceed the minimum aid limit
  • Be registered in the Census of businessmen, professionals
    and withholding agents of the State Tax Administration Agency or in the equivalent census of the Foral Tax Administration

How to get the digital bonus?

If you meet the conditions established in the bases of the Digital Kit aid announcement, you will be entitled to a voucher that will allow you to access digitisation solutions.

Can I hire several different services?

Yes, the Digital Kit bonus allows you to contract as many services as you need within the categories included in the program and to adjust to the limitations stipulated in according to each company segment considering and subsidised amounts.

When can you apply for the grant?

The first call will open in February 2022, aimed at companies between 10 and 49 employees, with a budget of 500 million euros. Subsequently, another call for micro-companies and the self-employed will be opened with 2,500 million euros.

Is there a time limit to use the digital voucher?

Yes. Beneficiary companies will have a period of 6 months to spend the digital bonus on up to five services from different categories. After this time, the voucher expires.

Do I have to pay to request the Digital Kit?

No, the request for the Digital KIT is completely free.
